Honey/Lemon Scrub, Facial Mask
Mix 1/4 cup of honey with 2 teaspoons of lemon juice to make a honey scrub that will leave your face moisturized and cleansed.
Egg Whites & Honey
Egg whites also help to nourish skin, and when used on face with the honey it boasts even more benefits. Just combine 1 full tablespoon of honey with 2 egg whites, apply and leave on for 10 minutes before washing off. The anti-oxidants and also the substances contained in both these essential ingredients will help to tone, firm, smooth, shrink your pores and supple-up skin.
Honey, Garlic, Tumeric
Honey along with tumeric and garlic can make for a really nice facial scrub that will leave your skin feeling and looking awesome. Properties in each of the ingredients are anti-ceptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-viral. This mask can heal, soothe, and promote better looking skin by ridding dead skin cells and also helping healthy skin cells to regenerate. Take a few garlic cloves and crush them up, combine them with 3 tsp of honey (organic is best), and 1 tsp. of tumeric. Mix together and make a paste and apply it liberally to your face. Leave it on for about 1/2 hour, then wash, rinse and dry. Repeat 3-5x a week for best results.
Cinnamon & Honey
Cinnamon is also a nice ingredient that can be combined with honey to make an exfoliating scrub. They both have important microbes that help to remedy skin riddled with oil, acne, and that is heavily inflamed. Take 1/8 cup of honey and combine with 2 TBSP of cinnamon. Mix well, and then apply as you coat all the spaces of your face. Leave this mask on no less than 1/2 hour as it needs to be absorbed thoroughly into the skin for best results. The longer you leave this mask on, the better it will work for you to produce the results that you want.
Essential Oil & Honey
Essential oils such as coconut oil, or extra virgin olive oil can serve as a main ingredient in your scrub/,ask combined with honey. Essential oils are natural because they can balance out the skin’s PH and also help to remedy the issues which cause the skin to look dry, red, unhealthy, and dull. Take a few tsps of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of honey, and 1/4 cup of essential oil of your choice and make it into a scrub you can also add sugar to this as it can be changed into an efoliant. Either apply as a mask or gently use a brush or sponge to scrub the dead skin cells off. If used as a mask leave on for 20 minutes, rinse, dry, and repeat this 5-7x a week for best outcome.
