The Symptoms of the 2nd Month of Pregnancy

As a result, you may suffer from indigestion, heartburn and bloating. The acids can also irritate your esophageal lining. To limit the heartburn, try to avoid foods like chocolate, spicy food, coffee, fried food, processed meat and fatty food.
Unfortunately, another common problem during pregnancy is varicose veins. Your elevated hormones and a rise in blood volume causes your veins to become bloated. When this happens, the enlarged veins look twisted and appear blue in color. They are swollen, which makes them easier to see about the skin. This is especially likely to develop if you already have a predisposition for it.
Luckily, varicose veins will generally not last for long. For most women, the symptom will gradually resolve within three months after delivery. It can become worse in your successive pregnancies though.
